Tony and Liana have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years, helping countless people achieve their health and wellness goals. They are also avid hummus lovers, who grew up enjoying this delicious dip made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Hummus is a staple of the Mediterranean diet, which is widely recognized for its benefits for heart health, weight management, and disease prevention.

In 2019, Tony and Liana decided to turn their love for hummus into a business venture, and launched Hummus Fit, a meal prep company that delivers fresh, hummus-centric meals across the United States. Their aim was to show that eating healthy doesn't have to be boring or bland, but rather fun, easy, and satisfying. They created a variety of dishes that incorporate hummus and other plant-based ingredients, such as salads, bowls, wraps, sandwiches, and snacks. Each meal is carefully crafted to provide balanced nutrition, optimal flavor, and convenience.

In 2020, Tony and Liana expanded their business by opening Hummus Mediterranean Grill, a fast-casual restaurant that offers customers the opportunity to build their own Mediterranean meals from a selection of fresh and high-quality ingredients. Customers can choose from different bases, proteins, toppings, sauces, and sides to create their own customized dishes. Hummus Mediterranean Grill also offers signature dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of the Mediterranean region.

Tony and Liana are not alone in their mission to spread the hummus love. They are supported by their brothers, Alex and Mike Mavruk, who are also involved in the daily operations of the business. Alex is the head chef of Hummus Fit, responsible for creating new recipes and ensuring the quality of the food. Mike is the manager of Hummus Mediterranean Grill in Selden, overseeing the customer service and staff training.

Together, the Mavruk family strives to provide customers with a memorable dining experience that nourishes both the body and the soul.
